Strategic action

From intelligence to economic action.

TAY identifies material system constraints, tests the evidence, and translates them into practical intervention architectures.

Featured action

Turkana: From Strategic Frontier to Gateway Economy

Turkana is entering a consequential period across infrastructure, regional trade, industrialisation and resource development. Tay is testing whether these assets can be connected into a productive gateway economy rather than operating as separate projects and programmes.

Current gate: the case is decision-ready for a scoped corridor-performance and trade-facilitation diagnostic. It is not yet a final investment recommendation; remaining quantitative variables are explicitly marked and governed rather than inferred.
Decision pathway

From question to action.

01

Frame the question

Define what must be decided, by whom, under what constraints and over what horizon.

02

Acquire evidence

Find and preserve the evidence needed to support the decision rather than filling gaps with assumptions.

03

Assess implications

Connect evidence to institutions, markets, capital, actors and emerging-market relevance.

04

Make the next move

Turn the intelligence into a recommendation, engagement pathway, watchpoint or decision object.

05

Track what happened

Observe the outcome and feed new evidence back into the intelligence system.

Public → private boundary

The public page starts the journey.

Public TAY surfaces the strategic thesis and the evidence behind it. The private workspace is where governed evidence, assessments, relationships, decision objects and monitoring can be assembled around a specific decision.

Principle: no consequential recommendation is treated as final merely because an attractive signal or narrative exists. Evidence, assurance and human judgement remain part of the action pathway.
